Known in the Filipino-American community as a vocalist, music and concert producer, Annie Nepomuceno has had a connection to the Arts from a very young age. From singing in children’s choir to performing with a prize-winning choral group to her own pop vocal trio, Annie has performed for both Resident Artist and Outreach Programs of the Cultural Center of the Philippines. In the USA, her work ranges from musical theater such as playing Lady Thiang in “The King and I” to featured vocalist of the Filipino-American Symphony Orchestra. Annie is a Katha and Awit Award winner (the Philippine Grammy) for her vocal arrangements.
Though born in Iowa, Annie built her musical career in the Philippines before her foray into the Filipino-American community of Los Angeles. She started teaching piano and singing to her Quezon City neighborhood at the age of 16 while she was a member of the U.P. Cherubim and Seraphim. She transitioned to the U.P. Madrigal Singers as a soprano soloist and official arranger. During this time, Annie was a popular session singer for commercials and live concerts, touring as a back-up vocalist.

By her early twenties, she became an in-demand vocal coach, managing recording sessions for multi-artist TV Specials and a faculty member at the Music School of Ryan Cayabyab. In her experience of 4 decades in the music profession, she has taught young children to professional superstars. To this day, she is sought by Filipino Artists as a session vocalist when they tour the US, due to the reputation she has established as a reliable and able harmony singer.
In between teaching music privately and performing, Annie is passionate about presenting high-caliber Filipino-American Artists and Filipino music. She has interfaced extensively with the Los Angeles County Arts Commission, The Ford Foundation, the Valley Performing Arts Center and the Japan America Community Cultural Center. She has brought National Artist Ryan Cayabyab, one of her mentors, on three US Tours in 2016, 2017 and 2019.
Aside from her albums with her vocal trio Three of a Kind, she has released “Thankful This Christmas” and “Love Of My Lifetime” on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and other music platforms. During the Covid lockdown She collaborated with AJ Rafael and other young artists on her composition “Sa Puso At Diwa” which will be released soon. She also wrote the lyrics for Island Pacific's "Busog Ang Puso Ko" with National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab.
